Security Consultant (m/f/x)

As a Security Consultant, you play a crucial role in advising and guiding our clients on security. You conduct analyses and develop strategies to protect systems, data, and people. You help organizations identify their security needs and implement tailored solutions.
What are you going to do?
- You develop customized security strategies and policies for clients. This includes drafting security objectives, policy documents, and providing advice on security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, and CIS.
- You conduct assessments to map the client's current security state and compare it with the desired state. Based on this, you create a detailed report with concrete recommendations for improvements.
- You analyze security risks and assess the impact of vulnerabilities. Based on this, you advise clients on effective security measures and provide recommendations aligned with best practices and industry standards.
- You conduct Social Engineering attacks such as phishing, whaling, vishing, and smishing campaigns, or going undercover as a mystery guest.
- You provide training sessions and workshops to make employees and companies aware of security risks and best practices. You develop training material and fosters a culture of security awareness within organizations.
- You stay up to date with all trends and news in the market and inform and advise clients based on the latest developments.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor's (HBO) level of working and thinking.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, measures, and technologies.
- Experience in conducting security analyses and advising on security solutions.
- Insight into IT infrastructures and security standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2, CIS, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to independently write clear and audience-tailored reports.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Consultant, 5 years is a plus.
